My family just adopted a puppy that someone had abandoned near the resevoir in our town. Our dog happened to get out of the yard and when she came home, brought the puppy with her. Contacted the town animal officer who stated he had been trying to catch the puppy all day but he kept evading him. We kept him overnight that night and the dog officer picked her up in the morning, stating that they had to hold him for 10 days in order to give the original owner a chance to claim the dog.

10 days later, the dog officer dropped him back off.

I don't think he is currently available for adoption... the biggest need the MSPCA has right now are donations to fund the surgeries he will require. I'm sure it will be a while before he is available. The MSPCA lost a huge portion of their endowments this past year, and needs avery bit of financial help they can get to care for the homeless animals they look after... Please please donate to help him!

People that abandon animals should rot in hell. When we were adopting a kittie there was one there that was abandoned behind a shopping center. She was awesome, sweetest little cat. I dunno how anyone could do that to her. When we went to pick up our kitties we found out someone had adopted the other one. I was so happy.

Just because this guy happens to turn up in a very public location and get tagged with the cutesy name of Tobin he is on every self-serving do-gooders wish list. They should have named him Lucky.

The MSPCA is great... I am volunteering a day in the near future to monitor anesthesia at a free pit bull spay/neuter day they are having.
