I am selling my 2004 SV650s
This bike was purchased at 2000 miles from a gentlemen who went into the military. I bought it completely stock. From then I have taken meticulous care of it. I am a trained mechanic and do almost all my own work. I ride with a lot of online forum folks and don't clown around. This bike has been ridden, but never beat on. Chain is greased every 300 miles, oil is changed regularly, bike is waxed every other ride. I brought it into the shop at the end of last season to have the valves checked. They didn't not need adjusting because they were still perfectly fine. If you felt like it, you could get new wheel bearings, but it really doesn't need them. Other than that the bike needs absolutely nothing. If I don't get a good price for it, I will just keep it. I love this bike! It has that great V twin sound and lots of low end torque. The only reason I am selling the bike is because I want to get back on a four banger for a while. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have....

Sorry sorry sorry gentlmen....Just fixed it. Man you guys post fast
milage?
Hey, Thanks so much jackie! I love my SV but it was time for change. The new zx6r I just picked up isnt as in good of shape as my SV. Its such a pain in the ass trying to find people who know how to take care of their stuff. My SV stays in show room condition at all times.
It does have 22k miles. I took it down to west virginia and I ride up north a lot. They are all highway miles for the most part. But what I tell everyone looking at the bike....
What makes people worried about high mileage bikes? All the wear items and things they need to spend money on to tune up...right?
This bike has....
New tires
New plugs
New battery
New sprokets and chain
Radiator flushed
Shocks tuned and cleaned
Valves checked
oil changed
And tons of accessories? I would give my word that this bike is no joke. Mint condition and rides like it did when it was brand new. Still has all the power a bike with 5k miles has.
You mean "Meticulously" maintained, right?
wow, nice looking sv. glws!

Brett took great care of this bike and was "almost" as crazy about it's condition as I was with the "Stinger"Or maybe he was crazier. Its a beauty! GLWS!
22k is not high mileage on a modern street motorcycle

Clean title, non-salvage history?

you guys are a tough crowd...Dont you have anything better to do lol
The bike has a clean title. I have been the second owner ever since 2k miles.
Ya 22k isnt all that much. I have seen SV riders with nearly 60k. But for the average joe shmoe who wants to pull wheelies...OMG anything over 5k is crazy! People want to beat em and sell em. Even my best friend rides his bike and sells it every year rather then do an oil change. Its hard to come by a bike like mine. If I was a dealer I would put a guarantee on this bike. Anything that looked like it needed fixing, was fixed! Preventative maintenance is better then fixing it after it breaks.
PS. Thanks Ken. Feedback from the people who know me is very much appreciated. You guys are the best
gorgeous.someone buy my wee-strom so I can take this to the Penguin school.
