Posting for a friend, can vouch for him honest guy.
I’m looking to get like $4,200 or so for it… It’s got just under 30,000 miles and is in very good shape
Hi, I have a CBR929 in great shape for sale. I'm the second owner and I knew the first owner very well and I can say with certainty that this bike has been VERY well cared for. It's never been dropped on the street nor in any accidents. It was dropped once, while stationary in a garage, but there's not real damage aside form a slight crack in the fairing next to a bolt.
Otherwise, here are some random details about the bike.
- New Bridgestone BT-002 tires front and rear. Used for one track day (bike has only seen one track day), so they've got some wear but are still good for quite a few miles.
- Recent oil change w/ Motul synthetic oil
- Scott's steering dampner installed (worth about $400)
- Hindle Slip-on exhaust installed (I can give you the stock exhaust, too)
- EBC street brake pads installed
- Rear fender eliminator kit
- CBR954 rear swingarm installed (lighter than stock 929 swingarm)
- 520 chain and sprocket set installed (lighter than stock 530, only has about 3k miles on it)
I never get to ride this bike anymore, so I'd like it to go to somebody who has a good chance to ride it. It's treated me well and has started up the past couple of springs with almost no effort after sitting with fuel stabilizer during the winter. Bike has always been garaged, too
I’m looking to get like $4,200 or so for it… It’s got just under 30,000 miles and is in very good shape…all proper maintenance has been done except for valve clearances (which may or may not need to be done).

Jim is a stand-up guy. I know this bike and I know Jim very well. He's taken very good care of it and he knows engines and bikes. Very much worth looking into if you are in the market for a used sport bike.

It's my bike, btw...I just don't have enough posts to make a thread in here
I'm even willing to rent a trailer and bring it to the buyer if they so desire...realizing it's pretty damn cold out
Well, as spring approaches, I continue to deal with the idea of do I sell the bike or do I keep it for 4 track days a year and pretty much nothing more?
So, if people are interested, I'll listen to offers.
Hmmmmm....
I had 2 929RR and sold 1 before I knew I would be working for Tony. Picked up a Track only (street trim) Blue 04 600rr from Degsy. With just over 2000 miles. But always wished I could have had the 929 for instructing.
Would yee entertain trades?

man, I wish I could. I mean, I guess I always could, it's not like I'm hurting to get rid of the bike or anything. However, I almost never ride anymore, so owning a bike right now just seems silly for me.
I'm going to bump this one last time...as I figure what the hell.
I bought a new kit for replacing both wheel bearings (about $150) as well as fork oil. Both things I plan on replacing pretty soon.
So if there's any interest, let me know? Work things have made it a such that I could probably use the money a bit now.
Going to give this one another bump. Price lowered to $4k.
