No curb damage or scratches but there are spots where the black finish is missing on the front wheel - as if brake fluid got on the rims.

I believe 848, 1098 and maybe the Street Fighter use the bigger rear axle assembly, while the 996/998 uses a smaller one. Could be wrong though.

The 848 and 916/996/998 have the same size rear spindle/axle. The 1098/1198 is larger is believe.

I bought the bike with 5,600 miles. It had been a street bike and then converted and done a couple track days. The slipper was only on for the track days.
