hey.. do you have a model number for it??
im not sure my wussy lil element can pull that.. I think my car is rated at 1500 LBS
I'm not sure, the label has become very weathered and un-readable. It has a GVW of 2000lbs, I assume the trailer weighs around 800lbs (educated guess, but still a guess). I couldn't recommend in good conscience towing it with a small vehicle, I am a conservative engineer and like having safety margin. Shit happens, I like to have some buffer.
ya i agree
the rating on an element is 1500 LBS. 150 LBS tongue weight.. not having an enclosed trailer is driving me crazy..
if it were 800 empty then id be pushing my luck .. my 750 is about 400 LBS.
in theory, if you were right about the 800 id be "OK"
maybe i need a 4x8 enclosed...
Ditch the hipster minivan and a get a diesel lol..
Believe me I know. Best of luck find a solution.
A 5x8 should be 800# empty. I've never seen one >900#.

I hate craigslist. It would be okay if I wanted a tandem kayak, box of roofing nails, a quart of oil and some M&Ms for my trailer....
Sold. May the new owners enjoy many adventures!
Congrats Alison and Greg. I can't wait to borrow that trailer!
