For sale is a Honda XR50R in used condition. If you're looking at this listing you already know the bike. The venerable Honda 50cc engine, kick start, just the right size to fit kids from the early age when they throw their leg over a real bike for the first time until they graduate to something bigger and more dedicated.
I bought this from a friend of mine who was the second owner. His son rode it in the back yard for a few seasons then it sat in his garage until I picked it up, and my son who rode it maybe once or twice a year over the past few years.. It has been sitting in my garage since about 3 years. Last fall I pulled the carb and cleaned it and I will reinstall it prior to sale.
When I bought the bike from my friend I installed a new air filter, chain, shift rubbers, oil, handlebar switches and controls and a bunch of other parts. Bodywork is original and has some wear but who cares? It's a learner bike and shouldn't be something you spend hours polishing. It is ready to ride.
