So this past spring I traded my RD's for this. I have straightened out the wiring, fuel lines and painted it. I haven't been able to have the free time or free cash to do a track day and it doesn't look any better for the rest of the year, So I might as well put this up for sale and if I get to do a track day I'll use the Beemer.
It has :
RaceTech Emulators in the forks,
Works Rear Shock, - Set up for 180 -190lbs rider according to the original owner.
Fork Brace,
Flat Side Carbs,
Full Yoshimura exhaust system
Vortex Clip Ons,
Rear Sets,
New Battery,
Braided Brake Lines,
UnKeyed Gas Cap,
I've ridden it up and down the street, shifts well, runs good. I have a set of take off's I'll get the brand later, they are in the garage. It doesn't have a title, but clean VIN, B.O.S. only, no way to make it streetable.
I want $1200.00 out if it. Cash or ?? Willing to work with purchaser on trades or payment plans. ( You get the bike when said deal is complete )
Let me know.
Doug
( I have the front fairing and an uninstalled steering stabilizer included )
$1000.00 *Cash Money*

Wow makes me want to set up my GS for the track. What are the flatsides from?
15 years old, should be streetable in Maine with just the bill of sale, FYI.
And that Yosh is a rare gem, they are few and far between and getting harder and harder to find, about the only pipe that actually does something for the GS500.
Bump... Oh and it is already safety wired
BUMP ... I don't for see myself on the track this year. I'll snap new pics this weekend. It is YELLOW now, like in the pic.
you know you want it..
i do want but dont have any where to keep it or a way to get it to the track. was also looking at a street GS500 for track use. any body have a garage and has room in a trailer? asking for a lot i know.
15 years old should mean streetable in NH as well. anyone interested call the DMV though, i think they look for previous reg and BOS. might be a way around the original reg if you have the police run the VIN and fill out a form saying that it is not stolen.
Somebody buy this great first track bike. Hell, great second track bike for someone who doesn't want to wreck a 600 or SV getting knee-down the first time.![]()
To the top...
You buy nice bike...
Thank you very much.
Bump
C'mon buy it and I'll buy ya a beer!
This is cheaper than one crash on your streetbike.
A solid investment IMO.
Little, low, with suspension, it's a cornering machine.

Doug, have you gotten this posted to the USCRA list or forum yet? Should be right up their alley.
No but it will be this weekend.. I put it up on my facebook as well.
Thanks Josh
I don't understand why this hasn't sold yet with that price
weekly bump - c'mon it's better than duct taping your street ride![]()
