Damn how many people live in Northbridge? I just moved there. Boos I didn't know you live here...
Someone Pmed me saying they can get a new 610 or 630 for like $6400. LOL. I dont think so. The 510 or 530 is $500 more than the 610 or 630 new. From my experience , I rode a 610 and 510 . The 610 was slower , heavier and didnt have the fun facter the 510 has.
It's a different motor platform altogether.

Not trying to threadjack - two totally different bikes.. the 510 and 630... but the person that sent you the PM and made you "LOL" was correct.
Go to wagner in worcester. They have a brand new 630 right on the showroom floor for under $6400.
Husky rebated these things like 3 grand!
Here is another one in CT. for under 6.

I cant comment on the pricing on the 510's - If those went down or not -
AND I AM NOT SAYING YOUR PRICE IS HIGH. seems like a great price and a sick bike! wish i had enough $$$.

Husky slashes prices on dual sport bikes
Powersports Business
Friday June 17, 2011
Husqvarna North America recently approved a price slash on $2,000 on the SMS630 and TE630, now available for $5,999 and $6,499, respectively. Both dual-sport bikes are street legal in all 50 states and offer a 49.5 mpg fuel rating. Both bikes feature a 600cc DOHC single-cylinder four-stroke motor, electronic fuel injection, hydraulic clutch and brakes and electric start.
“With gas prices on the move, and summer fun to be had, there is no better time for Husqvarna to offer a deal like this," said Husqvarna's national sales manager Revelle Harrison. "Dealer orders have already jumped drastically, so get your order in on a TE or SMS630 while units are still available."
again, this has nothing to do with a 510 ---- but who ever PM'ed you seems to be "correct"
Yes ,it is true . I did some more research and the 510 price didnt go down much, unlike the 630smr. In my test rides , the 510 is a much funer bike. The 630 is more set up for longer hauls . still a blast to ride . The reason for the price drop is BMW is the owner of husqavarna now. Bmw is coming out with a husky 900 smr . wich is going to dominate the field. here is a pic
