Here are some details:
2000 DRz400e with MA title and is street legal, registered in MA. No real idea of miles, since it doesn't have an ODO. I would guess 6k? I bought it in 2005.
-Big Gun full exhaust (and stock exhaust)
-Mefo tires with one season
-All guards...skidplate, rad, handguards, left case
-Renthal bars with shorty levers
-Baja Designs street kit
-IDO trip speedo unit
-Recent chain and sprockets
-Aftermarket seat cover and graphics
-Acerbis oversized fuel tank (never mounted)
-Manual Cam Chain tensioner
The real advantage of the “e” model is that it was originally the dirt-only version of the DRz, which means it has a plastic tank, a better carburetor, and is lighter that the S model DRZ.
Solid and runs great. The hand guards have done their job over the years, so are a bit misshapen.
It's time for fork oil change (overdue) and a shock refresh.
I've owned this bike since 2005. The reason I’m selling it is because it is a bit of a brute for what I want to do in the dirt in my old age.
$2,400.00
located in Ashfield, MA

That's more like it...
Looks like it's never been dropped on the right side either; Still have the magnesium cover with no guard on it. I had an '01 E that was plated, It was a lot of fun. I was just thinking about mine this morning...
Plastic tank. 39mm Keihin FCR 'flat slide' carb instead of a CV. Hotter cams. Thinner head gasket (read: slightly higher compression). No rear subframe (read: lighter). No OE brake or signal lights. No instruments. Although I thought they had odo's. Shows what I know..
Savas, you want this.

Close your eyes, look deep in your soul, step outside yourself and let your mind go.
Savas wants a motard, doesn't he? It would be a good base for a motard project, but not sure it's the best bike for that purpose.
good. let's ride!
I dunno. The bike has always been a woods/trail bike and is set up that way. It certainly could be a fine project to make it into a motard, but I see it for someone who wants a turnkey trial bike.
