Okay guys, here's the scoop.

I just talked to the owner and he wants $2500. That's pretty much his bottom line. He said if he was offered $1500, he would just keep the bike. I guess he's not real desperate to sell it, but doesn't ride it all that much. I'm guessing if you showed up with cash he'd take $2200-2400.

Sporty, you could sell your Ninja in the spring and probably get $2500 for it and I'm sure there are a bunch of guys on here who would be MORE than happy to help you swap out that rear swing arm.

(p.s.- R6 swing arms are like $50 delivered on eBay)
