I"m selling Scottie ducatis old bike(I believe Doc owned it at one time??). It deserves a better home and life than I can give it due to work priorities/ marriage priorities. Originally I bought it hoping to do a solid year of track days then move into loudon amateur racing. The bike is eligible for ulsb as well as lwss and some other classes I understand, however speak to to some racers for clear class classifications
Here are the big points that Scottie posted in his orginal for sale thread and sold me on
The good
-Sharkskinz 999 upper and lower with SS tail
-Stock motor with S2R800 'slipper' clutch ( installed by riverside motorsports)
-Ohlins Shock, lengthened for more ride height ( about 190 lbish)
-GMD Computrack worked forks sprung for for a rider about 190
- Termi Slip-Ons
-Woodcraft Rearsets ground down for more clearance
-Woodcraft Clipons
-Speedymoto Frame Sliders
-generic steering damper
- Entirely Safety wired ready for racing
Bike was started up yesterday with a new battery and she has no issues at all from the slumber.
The bad
Minor issues mostly, it was done by Scottie, bike was down and has a dent on left side with rash on the fairing side. from my conversation with Scottie, the bike was used afterwards and showed no issues, i confirmed with my slow ass riding of it at Pocono east. The fairings have some scrapes and minor holes due to Scottie being such a fast Mofo at loudon (easy fiberglass job) on the belly pan and by the oil over. Left pipe has minor scrape on it from previously describe lowside. there is minor surface rust on the bits of the bike when it was stored outside for about 6 months, chain has some surface rust.
Currently under a cover and hooked up to a battery tender in my secure garage.
I have many photos of it specifically with fairings removed to show any issues
With the bike I can include as part of the sale possibly:
Diablo corsa tires, never used
Michelin Rain tires, never used
Marchesisni Carbon fiber front rim only ( no rear rim) with brembo floating rotors
Bike has only been used 2x in past on the track
I'll post more photos tonight......She's all shined up,
In addition, she has a clear title, probably has about 4k miles on the motor if that. comes with the " ducati red key" For clarity.. she could be made into a street bike but why would you it takes some work .. all electrical connections are there
Again I'll post more photos later PM me directly if you feel there is any inaccuracies in this posting or there is something you'd like to discuss. I try to be as open and honest with any sale I make

hmmmm......
Nope, I don't think that is my old 800ss. I sold that to Tony and it had an older style tank/different tail.
