    2004 ZX-6R feeler

Tossing the idea of selling my 04 zx-6R. Has Ohlins rear shock that was rebuilt 6-7 trackdays ago and set up for 175lbs along with an ohlins steering damper. Woodcraft clip-ons, frame sliders and rear sets, Full Akrapovic Titanium Race exhaust, BMC race filter, PC3 with full Akro map, full sharkskins bodywork. The bike has never been crashed, has just under 17k miles, most are street miles, was turned into a track bike when i bought it with about 16k miles on it. I absolutely love the bike but my current life situation has me seriously considering putting the track and motorcycles on the backburner for a few years until i can get a career set and that aspect of my life rolling. Only spare i have is a spare rear rim and a spare upper fairing that needs alot of fiberglass work (bought off ebay). Frame is powdercoated black. Its a sharp looking bike, could use a paint job but other then that it is a really solid bike. Right now it has 08 forks on it with gas charged internals which i would replace with stock forks because i really don't want to sell the gas charged forks because they are so amazing.

id be looking in the $4000 range for the bike with stock forks and might let the bike go with the gas charged for $5500. just gauging interest for now, i know its a terrible time to sell and i am in no rush, strictly looking to see if there is any interest in it. thanks!

Also forgot Brembo 19x18 master cylinder and Galfer SS lines, the front lines are being warrantied by Galfer for bubbling. Performance friction pads as well.

    GL w/ the sale.

Do you have any OEM street parts (bodywork or signals)? If you decide to part anything, definitely let me know. I'd be interested in the shock and damper for starters.

    Re: 2004 ZX-6R feeler

Does it have a street title? I'm looking for a newer track bike and this one is in the price range.

No title, I know the history behind the bike and the bike is not stolen, the title could possibly be aourced but for a trackbike it's not worth it. Give me a call 978-660-5833 is my cell, I have my eye on a dirt bike so I'd like to sell this thing

    Re: 2004 ZX-6R feeler

I am not worried about it being stolen and I would never use it on the street. My only worry about a bike without a title is it's resale. I've found bikes without titles are very hard to sell. I'll give you a call tomorrow.

Resale can be difficult without a street title, you are correct, the bigger issue comes when dealing with selling to a track newb or someone who wants to use it as a track and street bike. And cool, I should be around most of the day tomorrow

I know this bike. I have done tons of work on it. Solid bike, fast and well maintained. Very good buy.

    Re: 2004 ZX-6R feeler

Just some added info on maintenance done recently. New Pads 4 trackdays ago, new fluid and master 2 trackdays ago, rear shock rebuilt about 6-7 trackdays ago, Valves adjusted in the early spring before any trackdays, new coolant, plugsplugs, BMC air filter, all done in the spring when the valves were done. Clutch done in july, has about 4 trackdays on it. possibly more that i am forgetting
