Looking for another 1098? I'm ready to trade.
Looking for a 999R.
Burnham, No offense but I would never get another 1098 after riding on the 999. To me the 999 is 1000X better in comfortability on the street, power delivery, fit and finish, handling and all around sexiness. Although the sexiness is a matter of opinion (i used to absolutely hate the looks of the 999..I mean really hated it!)Now I think the 9 is just pure sexiness....I was kicking around the idea of getting an MV but after thinking about it harder, and riding my bike more, I decided I'd never get another bike unless it's a triple 9 of some form...and S or an R.
Honestly, If someone offered me a straight up trade for a brand new done up 1198S for my 9 I wouldn't do it. I still have nightmares of trying to muscle my old 1098 around town....it's just a horrible street bike, it's jerky, it's hot, and it's a complete handful to ride at legal speeds..not to mention the seating position is ridiculous. Believe it or not the 9 is so much more comfortable...I was amazed
