2005 EX500, salvage title in hand. Race or track days only!
6,310 miles, I disconnected the speedo cable when I started racing it about 3 1/2 years ago. It's got about one full season on it with a handfull of trackdays on top of those miles.
Airtech bodywork
Braided front brake lines
Race tech springs and emulators set up for 190lb rider
Ohlins rear shock
Carb is jetted
Aftermarket filter (uni or bmc, can't remember)
Woodcraft clip ons
Woodcraft rearsets
Steel case guards
520 chain and sprockets
FOG undercut tranny
Wiring harness has been "cleaned"
Went through the engine 2 years ago, checked the heads for straightness, cleaned up the heads, fresh rings.
Tires are 2 years old but have a ton of meat on them
Spare wheels with rotors with pirelli rains mounted on them. I believe the rains are 3 years old? Also plenty of tread left on them.
Spares: spare 1st gen motor, most everything is interchangeable.
cush drive
2 520 sprockets
2 front master cylinders
1 rear caliper
stock rearsets
about 10 different stock foot and hand levers
1 ignition
2 coils
1 CDI box
steering damper, looks like an OE one off something else, I just never mounted it
front and rear rotors
Set up for GP shift, good all around condition. Total race package. Stand not included, I will consider trading for a scooter or maybe a dirty bike + or - cash.

TTT Great little race/trackday package, rain setup, all the spares you need. I learned more about going fast on this bike than any of the other bikes I've ridden on the racetrack.
Grr wish it would be worthwhile for me to grab this to race next season

Wednesday bump...someone make me an offer on this sewing machine!
Rainy Monday bump, new price.
TTT
Still for sale, still a great little track toy. If I had more time and resources, I'd keep it to do a trackday or two a year on but I also wouldn't mind making a little space in the garage. New price, $1200. Feel free to make me an offer.
Why am I broke :-( This would be so perfect for me to do Track Days

Think of it this way Josh, if you crash your street bike on the track you'll spend at least that to make it new again.
I know, lol signed up for oct 7th too

This is very temping. I was planning on tracking my FZR but if I wreck it I have no street bike. This looks like a nice package.

Sort of tempting...I have no idea what it's worth though, didn't really want to spend money right now. Year? Titled?
2002, I think Just over 5000 miles. I got it 2 years ago with only 1400 miles. Titled and Registered. I would really miss it + I don't have a trailer yet for a track bike. With the 5 bikes I have it is tough to store stuff now. I end up with the XT in the cellarway and I know I would not fit the EX there. It would be a great track toy though and I would probably learn more as I was babying the Gixxer, it was only my 1st track day at the start of the month. A liter bike is not ideal to learn on, especially at NHMS. I have so much money tied up in it and still making payments. I know how to spend more than I make :-( Damn Motorcycle addiction

Sounds like a garage is what you really need!
I agree, Shed is only 12x14 and I have 4 bikes wedged inside. I should of thought of getting a track bike before I spent $3000 prepping the Gixxer. A 1000cc bike is not perfect to learn on that is for sure. I feel I am not relaxed as I should be and reserved because the 190+ hp and shiny perfect body work

The race track is no place for a nice street bike, IMO. I did track days with my street GSXR 750 for 7yrs. Then I bought my SV650, which was a dedicated race bike. I suddenly enjoyed track days way more, because I didn't have to worry. Crashing is part of a race bike's "job".
