2005 FZ6 with 22,230 miles. PUIG windscreen, cat eliminator pipe, Scorpion cans, Power Commander, frame sliders and integrated turn signals/tail light. Stock exhaust, cat and tail light included.
Pros: new Pirelli Angel tires last fall. Maybe 200 miles on them. Fresh Amsoil oil. New battery last spring. It's been stored in a heated space for the past 5 winters (since I've owned it).
Cons: Integrated tail light is difficult to see. The bike came to me with it and I'm not impressed. No license plate light. Again, it didn't come with one and I've never had a problem getting it inspected. I low-sided on the left in the rain and there are some scuffs on the stator cover and the left grab handle. I replaced the front fairing and the plastic cover on the tail with OEM plastics. There are a few random nicks and dings on the tank and other places but I don't think they are anything uncommon to a bike with 22k miles.
The bike was a wedding gift from my wife 5 years ago and it's been great for me. It's sporty enough and still comfortable double up or touring. I rode it down to the Jersey shore for a wedding with no problem. I'll miss it but for the amount of street riding I've been doing I really don't need two street bikes and the wife just broke her leg so some more liquid assets wouldn't be a bad thing.

She slipped and fell on Thursday. Tib fib fracture. She'll be on crutches for 3 months and probably not able to work.

Forwarded to a friend that was thinking about an FZ6, though I think he's more set on an SV. Good luck with the sale and I hope your wife heals quickly.

I was in the same boat last year as your buddy, and am glad that I went with fz6, awesome bike, very comfortable ride and I have a blast every time I get on it. I also am interested in your exhaust if you decide to part it out, as we all know "mods" don't add value to the sale![]()
