Hello,
After enjoying the Yamaha YZF600R for 5 years, I wanted to try a different style bike and bought a 2009 Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 in May. Now, the finance manager (i.e. wifey) says I can only keep only one toy ... I sorta knew this was coming :S Anyways, decided to sell the YZF.
Bike is located in Nashua, NH. Asking $3499.
2005 Yamaha YZF600R
600cc, inline 4 cylinder, DOHC
10K miles
Well maintained
Very good condition
No accidents
Stock with Zero Gravity windshield (original available)
Heated hand grips
New spark plugs last season
Synthetic Oil & filter changed end of last season, only about 250 miles this season
New front tire - has about 400 miles
New rear tire - has less than 200 miles
Workshop Manual
Very reliable bike - have had zero issues
Sporty, yet comfortable
Very good on gas - 50+ mpg
Clean title on hand.
Sorry, not interested in trades.
It has minor scratches in the left side generator cover and slightly bent clutch lever tip - both from when the bike sank into hot pavement while with the previous owner. You can sorta see the scratch (vertical scratches, not front-to-back, proving its not from a crash) and the bent lever in the photos. I can take closer picture if desired. I thought the bent clutch lever gave me extra hold on the lever and never bothered to change it. You probably already know - its $12 for a new lever. And, there is minor scratch (more like 2 dots) on the tank (top left), again by the previous owner. He showed me exactly how he did it - when he was tightening the gas tank front bolt, the socket slipped and the socket handle hit the tank. Very minor; no dent. Again, I can try to take a close-up picture if you need.
Thanks !

Shameless self-bump ... !
Too bad, I was going to bump for a super-clean bike. I can't believe it hasn't been taken. Damn, it must be a dead market. You can't ask for much more. GLWS.
I'd love to check it out, but I'm waiting to hear back about getting a loan. Getting my first bike this summer and this one looks awesome. But I won't make any promises until I get approved by the bank

Yea I wouldn't be taking it to the track anytime soon, so comfort and reliabilty are really what I'm going for

Say whut?
The only thing that would keep me from bringing something like this to the track would be how fuggin' nice and clean it looks. But I sure thought about it!![]()
Sale pending ...
I thought this looked familiar. Did you find the potential buyer here, YZF forum, or someplace else?
The would-be-buyer is a new member here![]()
Sold, Thanks.
Buyer here, I cannot thank venk enough for helping me through the process. When I showed up to look at the bike I didn't even have my license so my friend was handling most of it for me. Ven knew the bike inside and out and walked me through the process. Thanks again and I'm looking forward to learning on my new yzf!
