Subaru 17” wheels with 225/55x17 Nokian Nordman 7 winter tires

17” Subaru wheels with little-used 225/55x17 Nokian Nordman 7 winter tires. Nordman is Nokians value brand: they were called Hakkapeliitta 7’s. The newest Hakka is 10. You can still purchase new Nordman 7’s.

These wheels were standard on Gen 3 (2005-2009) Outback 3.0R and XT but fit most Subarus through 2014 (Gen 4). The wheels are strong and straight but have surface corrosion and bubbling of finish on center hubs.

Nokian molds in treadwear indicators (in mm) and starts with much thicker tread than the Kleenex brands. These are showing 10-11/32nds (over 8mm) vs a new depth of 13/32nd.

We no longer have the car so these are definitely going. $400 or best offer.

Everything I can find says they are just the bigger wheels from my cheap base 2.5x so they will fit. I've been looking and it seems like they should be good, and car guys tell me different. I need tires for the winter and the rims are a bonus, should work
