I have a 50" Hitachi Ultra Vision Rear Projection TV that I finally replaced with an LCD HDTV.

Who wants the old tv?

Yup.. it works fine.

I've had my couch as close as 6' and it was fine. usually in the 8-10' range.

I'm not sure if you were trying to respect any dibs I may have ambiguously claimed, but it looks like it resolved itself.

I was going to say that if you get an offer to get it right away, go ahead and take it. but if you still have it in a couple days (after squid and dugan) then I'd come down.

I have the same TV. I'm waiting for it to konk out so I can get a nice wall hanging flat screen. Thing is a tank though.... bought it like 17yrs ago and it's still working like the day I bought it....it's the honda of tv's ffs.

Definitely. I got mine in '95 and its still got a great picture... better than lots of tube tvs. I finally broke down though and thought about putting this in my garage, but don't have the ambition to clean out a spot.
