If this ad is up, the bike is still for sale.
I bought this bike two seasons ago to use a a track bike and fun bike. At that time, I took it down to GMD Computrack and had Racetech cartridges, heavier springs, and a Penske 8983 shock installed by Pete.
Since then, my knees have degraded to the point that I can't ride it. My left knee can only flex to about 110 degrees (a healthy knee will flex 120-130 degrees). Tried to ride it a few times last season and could only take it a few minutes, even after putting on a gel [taller] seat and trying some brackets to lower the footpegs.
2008 Suzuki SV650SF. The S model had an upper fairing and clip on bars. The "SF" model came from the factory with the lower fairing and cost $500 additional. It was purchased from the original owner with 1,400 miles because he, ironically, had injured his knee and couldn't ride it anymore.
Under 3,000 miles.
Garaged since new.
Tail tidy.
Pirelli Diablo tires
Stock seat
TechSpec Snakeskin on tank
Title in hand
Includes stock spring and rear shock take-offs.
This picture was last fall. It has the gel seat and tail cover in lieu of the stock seat and passenger seat. I could add them in as part of a deal, they probably go used on eBay for around half the new price. There is one small scrath on the tank, other than that this is about as mint as they get.
$4,500 or best offer with the upgraded suspension. I've got standing offers for the stock bike, but thought I'd try one more time in case a large human was interested.
P.S. If I do return the bike to stock, the springs and shock will be sold on eBay.

Wow! What a great price for a properly setup SV! Bump. I wish I needed another bike...

We've been in the process of moving so I've left the ad here only.
In the absence of any offers I'll plan to list it on CL July 1.

How the hell has no one scooped this up yet? What a sweet deal for a beautiful (and low mileage) bike. You would have my cash in hand yesterday if I didn't buy the same bike in worse condition for almost the same price. Great beginner bike.
GLWS
49 states do it one way, and Massachusetts does it their own way.
Let me know if you get any offers for the bike without the penske. I would be interested in the shock
If it gets to that I'll be selling all the takeoffs on eBay.
Some buyers may want the seat cowl, gel seat, etc, and there will be the front springs and shock which some may want as a pair. Undoubtedly I'll swap out the springs and shock and then someone will want it with the springs and shock. The difference being now I have a garage to work on it.

Dear Prospective Purchaser,
If you read an ad that says "If this ad is up, the bike is still for sale" and then send the OP a PM asking if the bike is still available, said OP is not inclined to take your interest too seriously.
If you then send another PM a couple of weeks later asking "where is the bike located?" in a thread titled "2008 SV650SF set up for 190-250 lb rider - Boston, MA" said OP is not inclined to believe any ensuing discussion will be fruitful from his perspective. Unless it's someone here who set up another profile to help me waste time....
Every time I walk out to the garage to strip it I get sad because it's such a fun bike, but having purchased some jack stands, I'm about to make it original again. I'll kill this thread and start a new one, probably next week.

Are you a large human? If so the bike is set up perfectly for you now, although you'd probably also need the mirror-wideners.
