New Cylinder Head
New Pistons
New Timing Chain + tensioner (updated parts)
All new seals/gaskets
Also Replaced all 4 wheel brakes on the car and it has good tires too.
This is the most solid used A4 you will find. I actually hate selling it with all the work I have into it but I want a bike!!

How many miles on the car? Must be a lot for a timing chain to snap. What transmission does it have?
Friends don't let friends wave to Can Ams

Don't Audi's have a non-interference engine design? Why does a snapped timing chain cause so much ruckus?
Does any modern engine have a non-interference design? Outside of lawnmowers and stuff...
I assumed that most modern engines switched to a non interference design. Though I understand it's a function of compression ratio - higher the compression, higher the chances of it being an interference design. The A4 motor makes very ordinary numbers and is a turbo so I assume its not super high compression? Also, aren't chains supposed to last a LONG time? Belts need to be done around ~90k or so, but I thought the whole point of a chain was its long life?
I am certainly not an expert in this area, just always assumed we had moved past interference designs and/or timing belt issues in the modern age. So this thread caught my eye and I was curious.
