I have a 2009 Ducati Monster 696 with two sets of skins (yellow on and white in a box), 14T front sprocket, DP touring seat, Race/Termignoni package, and motivation frame sliders. 10.5k miles. Major service at Seacoast last year - plan to change synthetic oil this year myself. Michelin Pilot Road II's with decent tread. I have had the bike for two years and it has been a blast. My daily rider is a VFR and this bike was bought with wife's interest in mind, but she has only ridden twice. Am thinking of changing to an 848 for the weekend rides and in town short rides. Asking $7k. Never down or crashed. I did try one track day with it. If I don't get something close to it than I'll just keep it. The sound of those pipes is addictive!
Bump for a great guy!
Thanks Sean! In the back of my mind I am thinking that I don't want this to sell too much....it is not exactly priced for a quick sale, but there are a couple of bikes I have been thinking about. 848 would be top on my list..I also came across a Ducati ST4S that I think I would love..anyway, good luck with your swap as well. I am keeping my VFR.
Looks like "my wife" will be keeping this bike...so, it is off the market! It is a ton of fun and after the latest service runs like clockwork. Now, just need to physically pick up the super hawk... ;-)
