Sold.
Four Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 winter tires. Unstudded. Used one winter by my daughter in Colorado.
Fits 2005-2009 Subaru Outback, many other Subarus, some Audis, other vehicles.
Still have 11/32nd tread depth so close to new. Nokians have a tread wear indicator molded in and it is still showing a strong “8”.
$250. Pickup in Boston.

I think I can use these, gotta check the tire size on my crosstrek. was hoping to get one more season out of the ones on it, but they're getting questionable.
Subaru wheel and tire sizes.

I'ma check the boy's shitbox tonight when I get home. If they'll fit his winter wheels, I'm all in...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
@duduzu, can’t respond to your pm because your mailbox is full.

I will take these Dana.
Unintended Subaru bobsled ride down my driveway during this last storm was a damn good motivator.
I can PayPal the dough immediately if you’d like and pickup will be a hassle for me but I will make it work.
PM’d you. Driving out to UMass Amherst today to visit daughter.

Same here, thanks!
How they working out?

Excellent!
I couldn’t be happier in the very poor conditions; they remind me of how well rain tires work for motorcycle track days and racing, and so I hope I don’t burn them up running them on dry pavement on the highway sometimes when it gets to 45 degrees between ice storms lately.
Not sure if I should be worrying about that or not. The Outback that they are on is our highest mileage car at 170k and we have more cars than we need right now so I just saying yesterday to my wife that maybe we should just leave the Nokians on all year and rest the Subie for the summer (assign it to winter beater duty, only).
Thanks again! Will they wear out ridiculously quickly if I keep racking up miles on cool dry pavement?
50° and below they hold up well. Nokians come with really deep treads and those were little-worn. You’ve probably noticed they are a lot quieter and more fuel efficient than older snow tires. The one area they seem to be limited is wet road braking.
Remember there’s a tread depth measure built into the tread. It’s calibrated in MM. In most of Europe when the tread depth goes below 4mm they are no longer legally considered winter tires so the “4” disappears. That’s about 5/32nd and we usually retire our winter tires at 6/32nd.
The Sprinter has 9/32nd left and they still perform well.

Can't speak directly to the hakka8, but i left the winter tires on the van the past 2 years, it's a 4th+ vehicle for dog transport, only about 6k miles per year and while they did wear faster than had I switched they weren't throwin chunks of rubber off in the summer or sliding all over the place.
I wouldn't worry about under 50 degree driving at all.
Outbacks wear the fronts slightly faster than the rears. Pretty minimal.
Adding a couple hundred pounds over the rear wheels makes a big difference in snow. The VTD cars especially.
