What year Versys? 650 or 1000?

I rented the original in SF for a long weekend, a 2009 650. I remember being very impressed. I had an FZ6 at home and wanted something similar to rent. It was light, flick-able, with a willing engine and comfortable all around bike. The latest ones are somewhat heavier but more refined with better screens. Still, there is a reason it won accolades when it came out in 2008
