What do you get for em puhgs?
mpgs while towing?
Do you have summer tires on a different set of rims?
Could you make the price harder to find? That would be awesome. Thanks.![]()

What do you get for em puhgs?
I average ~ 36 mpg COMBINED commuting (Waltham to Cambridge) in the warm months (includes some highway trips). Any significant highway sees over 40 mpg, and that's usually around 70-80 mph.
The Frost Heater upped my winter commute (12 mile) average MPG from ~26 to over 30 (100% city driving). They love having the motor warm and it makes a huge difference in the winter.
mpgs while towing?
1 bike, 32-34 mpg (assuming it's mostly highway), 1 bikes plus passenger and gear we got 29.8 mpg average from Waltham to Calabogie and back.
Do you have summer tires on a different set of rims?
I do, they are available separately or part of the package for the right priceThey are TSW rims and all-season tires (forget the brand), but since I ran snows all last winter and this winter, they don't have a ton of miles on em.
Is this AWD or FWD Scottie?
All Jetta Diesels are FWD.... I can tell you she is perfectly capable of handling up to 6-8" of snow (on a gravel road no less!), and I would take her absolutely anywhere during just about any weather. #beastmode Easily as sure footed in the snow w/ snows as any non-diesel 4WD I've owned. One of the best parts about the diesel in winter is you can just let the clutch out slow and the motor will pull you along from a stop... no spinning wheels or drama.
That is an incredible price!

The Fiancé and I are interested. We'll get in touch soon after we talk more about it.
09 was a good year. Last of that body style with the nicer interior.
Common rails are great, 60MPGs with DPF deletes![]()
(I work at a TDI parts retailer so I know a thing or two. Well I try anyway)
It's HIGHLY HIGHLY illegal but we've got a customer who runs a dealer and throws the dealerplate (so he doesn't need to worry about emissions) on his 2009. He got a downpipe that does not have a DPF in it and he cracked 60MPG. I bet in the near future tuners like Rocketchip and Malone will figure out how to show emissions readyness with out a DPF.
Unfortunately the vehicle I had eyes on was listed while being sold. Turns out another local one (same model) at a different dealer was ALSO actively listed but "not for sale" when I called. Turns out, not many of em around and might be harder to find than I thought. WTF is up with these sketchy (used) dealers?

The VR6 4 motion has tons of power, standard sports suspension and 345mm front discs and has a ton of room inside. It would have no problems pulling a few bikes. In Europethe tow rating is higher - not sure what it is in the US

We got a Cruze TD in January and it already has 7,000 miles on it. There's something about them diesels.....
