1996 Ford E350 Ambulance
82,XXX miles
7.3 Liter Turbocharged Diesel
- 4 new rear tires & 1 new front tire (2009)
- New Glow Plugs
(2009)
- Class V Tow Hitch w/ wiring
- Brand new brake controller for the trailer (2009)
- 2 New Batteries (2009)
Up for sale is the tow vehicle I purchased to tow my Subaru race car around a few years ago. Vehicle was purchased through an official used ambulance dealer based in NY. Vehicle was fully checked out and sterilized prior to purchase. When I sold the race car in 2008 I kept the 'bus in order to get the race motorcycle to and from the track. The ambulance is equipped with a block heater, shore plug (plug it in to the wall and now you have AC power in the ambulance), scene lights (left, right and rear), Hella fog lights, heavy duty load manager, etc. This is a true ambulance so there is a lot of internal and external storage cabinets, separate heat and AC controls for the front and rear areas. Currently the rig is set up to hold two motorcycles in the box.
Queen sized air mattress fits nicely in the back and keeps the hotel bills down on those long race weekends.
Along with the items specified above, it has the usual amenities: Dual batteries, dual alternators, power steering, ABS, cruise control, am/fm radio, internal dual setting dome lights, etc...
Reason for sale: In the market for a trailer that will hold more bikes and potentially house the wife/kids if we bring them to the track.
$8,500 or best offer. Available in Goffstown, NH for viewing.
Additional pictures available upon request. I'll post some up here shortly.

Depends how much you put your foot into it. I've seen as high as 18 and as low as 10 (towing a full size trailer with a car on it). It has a HUGE turbo on it so it truly depends whether you cruise under boost or not. If you're not towing, cruising on the highway is possible with the cruise set at ~80 not under boost. I love the motor and the rig. It's just much more than I need.

pics of the inside?
Weird question did the trailer you towed the Subaru with have all led lights and a plastic tote on black painted wood... With pull out ramps... I think I know who bought it if you sold it..
Bump.
