It was a friend of mine that died last week on route 20. He owned a 900RR that needed motor work. The bike is blue and yellow. I am not sure of the year. It was in storage for a while before he got it and it has low miles. He pulled the motor before his accident, but had not broken it down. It does not have any holes in the cases so I suspect its a spun bearing. His dad wants the bike gone. It has Dymag Carbon wheels on it.
The deal would be between you and his dad, but I suspect $1800.00 would do it. There is a title, but it would need to be found.
OK I have an idea...
Those wheels are worth the $1800
What if someone bought it, fixed it and sold it and then gave the profit to the family?

Thats a nice thought, but the family is pretty wealthy, and the truth is they would rather have it out of sight and mind. I will snap some pics today, its really in pretty nice shape.
Sorry to hear.
