If you browse their inventory, you will find my old R1 for about $1700 more than I sold it for, with no mention of the salvage title.
(I'd link it directly, but I cant figure out how....)
my laptop no likey the linky......freezes up....
I was there last Weds. He buys tires from me. That Aprilia is very nice. The yellow Laverda next to it hasn't moved in three years.
Putting his hands in the air, like he just doesn't care.

I don't know them, I imagine they got the bike from the fellow I sold it to. But that is, without a doubt, my (and Half Squid's) old bike.
I have to wonder why they make no mention of it being a salvage title. While that bike was a reliable, blast to ride, it has a number of quirky issues - i.e., the mileage is pretty much wrong because its a Canadian bike and read in kilometers at some point, it has a wacky kickstand issue, it has a dent in the frame on the left side which is covered by those silly carbon things you see in the picture, the EXUP valve actuator cables are currently in my toolbox, the list goes on. In my humble opinion, its worth somewhere near 60% of what he's asking for it.![]()

60% is probably about right for that one too.

If you look down, you go down. That may be fun at an orgy, but it sucks on a bike
Well I feel the need to stick up for Rick here. My best friend used to be a mechanic for him and I know quite a few people that have purchased bikes from him. While a lot of his bikes he buys from auctions and does not always know the history of. The reason there is no mention of a salvage title is because it no longer has one. He rebuilds the bikes and gets the titles cleared through the state. If you ask him about any of his bikes he will be straight up about the history to the best of his knowledge. I would not hesitate to buy a bike from them.
This one?

You suck at life. Why don't you quit?
My dad told me I could be anything I wanted when I grew up. So I became an Asshole.
I am not denying that the bike has/had a rebuilt title. Just that the owner is a stand-up guy that is very willing to disclose any information he has on the bikes he sells. I just don't want to see somebody get a bad reputation from people who have never been by his shop or spoken with him just because of one bike that you may very well know more about than he does.
