Looking for a pup

Maybe someone here knows someone with some pups. My fiance, son and I are looking to get our first dog.. Must be:

1 yr old or less..

Smaller breed (under 40lbs) my house is only so big..

Good with kids

Fairly short hair(my fiance can get sneezy from long haired dogs)

doesnt matter if its a mutt or purebred..

I absolutley refuse to buy a puppy from a store.. there are way too many good pups/dogs that need to be adopted/rescued..


If anyone knows of anyone please let me know

Have you hit the SPCA lately? I went a week ago out of curiosity and they had quite a few puppies.

That stinks, i have a great litter of ten right now. Mother is a white red nose with great temper (our family pet) and the father is a awesome blue (again great temperment friends family pet).The pups are 3 1/2 weeks old..

Here's a pic of the mom and the pups about 3 weeks old in this pic.They're about 4 1/2 weeks now..The mom is drained, these little rough necks are taking the life out of her..I've got them started on drinking puppie formula so far..Next week start the soft food.Help mom put the pounds back on... one of the blue pups is not in the pic...

Check the date. This was posted in May and I tried to get my hands on one of the Blue ones but he never got back to me. If I can be of any help let me know as I volunteer for PPittieLove Rescue. If you go on their site I am currently fostering Duke.
