Camper has 3way frig, voltage controler, hot water, 20 gal water tank, air conditioner, microwave, 3burner cook top and a pieseomatic heater sleeps up to 3 in a squeeze. I mounted a bike rail and ramp steel kit out front that takes my 650 ninja at 245# pulled by a Rav 4. Price $6,500 payed $9,000 two years ago. I will try to attach pics. PM me if interested

Are you saying your Ninja weighs 245 lbs? Or are you saying with your Ninja on the tongue the tongue weight is 245 lbs seen by the tow vehicle?
How heavy is the entire package with a 270 lb motorcycle and spares for a race weekend in it? I have a Subaru 2.5RS and curious if it would tow this with my motard on the tongue comfortably.

I've heard of people towing about 2500 pounds with their WRX's/STi's making sure to be careful. I'm planning on a small (5X8.5) enclosed v-nose trailer to tow with my 11 WRX. I don't know about the weight but I do know a class 1 hitch is rated for 200 on the hitch. Not sure if class 2 is the same or a bit higher.
Requirements: #3500 hitch assembly giving you a 350# tongue capacity. Trailer is rather weight neutral when attached as the axel is mid and the bike is cantalievered back a few feet putting about 300# tonge weight. Loading the trailer with a few hundred pounds of gear over the axle area will not increase tongue weight at all. Electric brakes on the trailer will take care of the braking fine.
Dude I am no subaru fan but if it has at least a 6 cylinder engine and all wheel drive it would be fine. I tow with a rav 4 limited w/6cyl and all wheel drive and four wheel low. I tow it loaded for camping/riding and a 2 man kayak on my roof and the rav loaded as well but only two passengers. Remove all water from the camper to lighten load as well. Last time I left the two full propane tanks on for the trip to North Conway and had no problem. Oh tow the bike dry of gas as well and use a 2" rise hitch to keep it up higher over bumps. You would have no problems with a 270# bike. The question you would need to ask a trailer place is the minimum rated hitch for this unit if you go with a lighter hitch. My guess is the #3500 is minimum.

Thanks for posting up and clarifying things for me. Looks like it would be a little much for my car, it is only the 2.5L 4 cylinder and I'm not so sure that it would be great for the car.
Good luck with the sale though!

you need that folding trailer on the site for the subaru to tow one bike
