I could use a little help. I need to replace my forks on my RC51. If you have a bike stand for sale, rent or loan that would be awesome.
I rode the CBR1100XX last weekend. It's fast and fun to a point, but I miss the RC like crazy. I need to get this back on the street pronto.
In other news I've given up finding replacement plastic within my budget. Covering the bike in day-glo fur has been dome. So, I'm thinking I'll cover it in red and black plaid. I haven't seen that done yet. Few things say "Brent" like plaid anyway...
If it isn't fun, you are doing it wrong.
Later!

Lift the front of the bike up and put jack stands under the case covers? Quick and easy.
I know a little about everything, and alot about nothing.
Hmmm, simple, easy, I already have jack stands....
I like to call myself a mechanical engineer. I can't say I've earned the title today.

Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Do yourself a favor. Just go and get a stand. Its so much easier and much more reassuring to have the bike on a stand then some jack stands. Id let you borrow mine but my bike is on it right now and youre about 2 hours away. My bike is back together now but it was nice to have these to drop the forks out. The jack stands are for the calipers.
