Hi guys, haven't been on in a while because I moved to SF, and I picked up a couple R6 bikes and decided I don't need my SV any more. I'm parting it out, and while I know shipping across the country sucks compared to picking something up, I'll work with you guys to keep it as cheap as possible. Here is what I have:
Front end, race tech emulators, sprung for 165lb rider, tuned by Jeff Wood and GMD Computrack. $400
Penske double clicker,$500
Ohlins steering damper and mount for top triple tree/gas tank: $100 (ohlins adjuster is gone, but it's set in the middle and works great, and the mount has been welded)
SV woodcraft clip ons - $70
Koso tach - $125
Custom made aluminum front fairing stay with koso mount $100
Stock wheels with good rotors and gear carrier, Dunlop UK slicks -$400
Stock wheels with good Rotors and gear carrier, Michelin rain tires (front brand new, rear has a few laps) -$600
SV tank with a buncha dents/rash (but cleaned and coated inside) $75
SV carbs, cleaned in industrial ultrasonic, rebuilt last year, dynojet jets. $100
SV swing arm, slight scratch near left rear - $75
SV frame, no title, was salvage. - $100
GSXR bodywork to fit the SV, needs a little paint and bondo but not bad $200
Other stuff: make offers, I'll be taking the bike apart.
Oh, cylinders and heads are possible. If someone is interested I can pop them off. The shift shaft caught the ground and snapped the case. I don't know how fast the motor stopped or what condition everything inside is in.
Oh, and one extra SV rear wheel, no gear carrier, no tire -$100
Mark what were you using for bodywork mounts?

I fabricated some alumimum tabs for all the mount points, and I designed and welded the front fairing stay that worked with the GSXR bodywork.
But I held my bodywork on with zip ties. Kept it in better shape during crashes.
There was a al bracket near the pipe mount on the right, on the right side near the fairing stay, the left near the footpeg (which broke) and I made two tabs to go from the seat mount to the superbike tail and a third behind the superbike seatpan that I riveted to the subframe. Getting it all to fit was a giant pain in the ass.
