It is not a good trailer by any stretch, but my god it got me through a year and a half of racing, 2 apartment moves, and a bunch of scooter and dirtbike transportation. Once it held my motard, Marco's sv, and a vespa all the way to the track. Another time it carried my dirtbike, a z1000, and a meat smoker all the way to Franconia.
I bought the stupid harbor freight one and I KNOW I am going to miss this thing, but my dad wants it out.
Empty, this thing is ridiculous loud. Suspension is a joke, it is 2 springs (yes, just springs) and no shocks so it is super super bouncy. Once loaded up, it ain't so bad. Honestly, it is WAY better with some weight on it. The axle is kinda permanently curved?
I bought this from PK for $100 a few years back. It did not come with any wheels, tongue, or any lights. I found some wheels somewhere for it. I also bought a new set of wheels. This winter, I don't understand how, but a valve stem went missing. So right now it has one good wheel/tire, and one mediocre wheel with an OK tire on it. Both tires hold air. One very well, the other will go flat after a few days. Both taillights should work, but I think the wiring got destroyed for one of them this winter. 1 & 7/8 ball I believe. The small one.
This is sitting behind my dad's house in North Reading, MA. Go there, give my dad $125 or drop it in the mailbox, and pull it home. I have a registration for it, but no title. I think you should be able to use my prior registration to register it. Or you can do what I did: say you built a homemade trailer, go to the insurance company and get the RMV-1 form, and then go to the registry.
If you buy my dirtbike I'll toss this in with it...if you want it.
