'00 Subaru 2.5RS Coupe - Project Car

Good project for someone that really wants a 2 door Impreza of this vintage.

The Good:
It is a 2 door 2.5RS that starts runs and drives.
Relatively new clutch
Transmission recently replaced with unit with significantly less miles
The Not So Good:

Needs tires and brakes all around
Has typical Subaru rust issues
There is an oil leak I believe to be a rust hole in the oil pan
Should have timing belt done
Check engine light is on due to issue with EVAP system
Needs some exhaust work
AC compressor doesn’t work, heater controls should be replaced
Sparco driver’s seat has hole in side bolster
Cup holder is broken, center console cover cracked, small hole in passenger side dash
340,000+ mile carpet issues

Sadly yes. I don't want to sell it but I also don't want to do the work needed to make it a good daily driver again. Someone will enjoy it even if it is only a winter beater or a 24hrs of Lemons (anyone want to do this?) candidate at some point down the road.

Did some reading on this and the crush/claim thing doesn't seem to be a real concern. They may penalize some laps or something of that nature but the claiming/crushing stuff doesn't seem to happen as the rumors would indicate.

Dropped the price to $1000 hopefully tire kickers will stop kicking and someone will just hand me the cash and take it away
