Up for sale is my near museum quality 1989 Yamaha FZR400. 11k miles, NEVER on the track or raced. Brake fluid changed every season, coolant flushed 2 yr.s ago and replaced with MotorIce, 4 into 1 Kerker exhaust w/ carbs jetted to match perfectly. New battery, new clutch cable & Bridgestone Battlax tires. Always adult owned, oil changed every season with full synthetic whether it was ridden a lot of not. Needs nothing but a new home. This is a very rare, hard to find bike in this condition most were trashed years ago at the track. This looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Previous owner had this stored in his living room since 1990. (He bought it used, one yr old ) There is a slight burn on the right lower fairing from the exhaust getting close. Sale includes a factory Yamaha repair manual for the bike. Pearl white and red checkers. $2800 cash and she is yours, I currently have three bikes in the garage and two need to go. I can email more pic.s upon request.

Nice Nice Bike! have to ask ....whats the other of the 2 that need to go?
The other bike that is going to be up for sale shortly is a 2003 Kawasaki Ninja 250R w/ only 2k miles on it. Blue/Yellow and black. It was low sided on the right side at low speeds. (in a parking lot) Someone did a repaint and repair on the upper fairing which looks ok. I am replacing its battery, tires and cleaning the carbs.
I can't believe you're selling your grail. It will be sad not hearing the shriek of the Fizzer.
I would give my left testicle for that bike. Good luck finding it a good home.
I've got a '90 FZR600 and would kill for a 400![]()
Oh man... super cool classic!

Chris Thanks for your help with the bike.
I put a few miles on today and the bike runs great. Most of my race bikes are vintage 70's stuff. Nice to be riding a modern to me bike for a change.
I am glad to hear you are enjoying it Gene. Keep the shiny side up!
Congrats on the sale. They seem like great bikes, and right in my price range, but I wouldn't have been able to take such a pristine example to the track.
