Well, it kills me to sell this, but I have to start being honest with myself about what things I'm really going to get to now that I have two kids... :-)
Its a 1975 (I think - could be a '74 or '76... I haven't double checked the title), Yamaha DT175 Enduro. I don't think it will start without some cleaning up of the carbs and adjusting of the points. The last time it was used offroad was several years back when Andy Rigo abused it in vietnam. To its credit, it finished the ride.. albeit with a broken headlight. I didn't replace it because those 6 volt headlamps were hard to find.... Since then I always had visions of restoring it to its vintage beauty, but I'm coming to the realization that it will never happen.. and even if it did, if I tried to pass it down to one of my boys to ride, they'd probably wonder why I was being so cheap and not buying them a new one. :-)
Its actually the bike I learned to ride on, which is why I'm so attached to it, and its a mighty fine bike when its running well. A lot more power than the 1995 Suzuki DR-250 that my Dad picked up to 'replace' it, actually, but my dad really wanted the electric start on the DR.
Anyways, I have the original Service manual, an NOS piston (piston only, no rings, etc, unfortunately), and I think I also have the original street blinkers (6v, IIRC).
I'm in Hudson, MA. Would like to get $350.
