Someone should buy it and list it for $400,000 on ebay.
I saw Steve's (First Duc-1098) when I was over at Landric's about a month ago and to me, the ass-end of it looks like it was an afterthought. It looks unfinished.
But that single-sided tubed swingarm is friggin awesome!
I can't believe some of you guys think these are "ugly". If I had the cash I'd buy one and stash it away. It's one of those bikes that will be found in a barn in 100 years and sell at auction for $2M.

I remember being on the fence when they came out. But now, I think is beautiful. Different for sure, but I love it.
I'd like it more if the cans weren't so far out. I think shorter cans would look a ton better.

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
Call me crazy but a faux 'throwback' retro will never be a worthy investment. Not saying it's not a sweet, limited production bike.... but it's a copy / reinvention... not the real deal.
An actual Mike Hailwood bike on the other hand...
All that said, an air-cooled 900 desmo punched to 944 is probably one of the most addicting engines I've ever experienced on the street.
Sexytimes.
I liked this color scheme better. Both bikes belong to one owner.
Those carbon clad ones make me feel funny in the pants.
