This gun is VERY old. Made sometime around April of 1913. US Army issue. The previous owner told me it spent some time in Panama and overseas. It needs a new recoil spring plug. Magazine is original as well, the two tone finish on it is era correct. The wooden handgrips are original as well. Does it fire? I have not a clue, but the firing pin does work. I have it dissasembled since it needs a new recoil spring plug. I don't even know how to price it yet.

I have all the collector books on them. The condition looks very rough from those pictures so more pictures are needed to determine condition and how original the parts are.
That serial # is late 1918 to 1919.

Know if its the original barrel? A little rougher than he is looking for, but I know someone who may be interested
From what I have found, yes it's the original barrel. This is the stamp on top of the barrell.

Man this is tempting
Post then here if you want, but they are not detailed or focused enough to see much. Condition determines the price and it could be worth anyywhere from something like $400 or $500 at the low end to closer to $2,000 on the high end. The fact that it has functional problems and the finish is rough points you towards the low end.
It would probably be best to get the parts necessary to make it functional. It would be worth more as a shooter. Hard to tell if there's any additional value to due to rarity, originality etc.

Don't try to Re-condition it or clean it yourself. Nice find though. GLWS.
What's the price?
PM sent. The person I mentioned who may be interested, after seeing the ad, is indeed interested.
Thanks John, I'll send him an email in the morning. As to everyone looking for a definitive price, I'm still trying to figure out a reasonable one.
