Beware: feedback from a complete idiot...
I'm casually in the market for a sport bike. Casually, primarily because my budget doesn't match my taste. I'm well aware of this.
I love the F4i's. The setup you have seems like a great deal at a very reasonable price. I don't know the costs of everything, but I'm pretty sure it's a reasonably good deal.
Unfortunately the idea of me buying a dedicated track bike just doesn't work. I'd blame my wife for this, but even for me, a bike that I could use twice a year just doesn't make sense. Yes, I know that this is titled and I could find plastics and other bits to get it back to street, but being an idiot that scares me. That will also cost me. Did I mention my budget doesn't match my taste?
Anyway GLWS, and worst case bump.
I bought it not wanting to crash my nice, clean R1 on the track. Most people don't want to have to prep there bike everytime they go to the track. Also, it's prepped to race, so a fairly inexpensive way to start racing.
If you are looking for a sportbike, that you sometimes ride at the track, this is probably not that bike. Careful, though. Going to the track can be addictive. You might end up at the track more than you think.
