As the title says its a red 2001 model with only 57xx miles. I purchased it in '05 with 2k showing on the odometer and put ~2k miles on it the first year. Very few miles in years 2 and 3 because I spent a lot of the riding season away and then needed to focus on finishing my thesis last summer (and riding can be distracting biggrin.gif )

Its practically stock - only mods are sliders (very heavy duty, can't remember exactly where I got them though - was it BKS?) and a K&N air filter. Its got a small scratch here and there but its in great shape cosmetically. Mechanically there have been no problems. Oil changed frequently despite the miles and garage kept year round. Its been a great bike for me, but I'm getting a newer VFR as a starting point for some mods.

That's what I thought too, but no interest yet. Folks, its a great bike, comfortable, quick, and looks sweet (especially in red). Someone is going to get a really good deal and it could be you

Would like to sell it to someone here rather than go through another CL experience

I will be looking for a track day bike next season and that thing sounds like it might be a great track tool........

DynoTune, it sold to Dan in cambridge, don't know if he's on the nesr boards or not. I had it listed on CL and a few VFR sites so he may have seen the ad someplace else......
