Hey all,
So I've decided after much thought that since I am going to Korea for 12-24 months that it would be best to sell the bike. Since I could also really use the money for Christmas & my daughter I would like to make it a quick "as is" sale.
The bike is a 2001 Ninja ZX-6R with 37,--- miles.
The good:
-bike rides great for a almost 10 year old bike.
-Landric Customs/BostonMoto did the valves, carbs and a few other things to get 'er running great back in August. Bike never felt better and still feels great.
-Woodcraft rear sets
-LSL frame sliders (they work, ask how I know)
-very comfortable for street riding but still has plenty of "get up and go"
The bad:
-The bike has been down and has rash on the left and right side
-needs an oil change and the chain cleaned soon
-if the bike will be street ridden/inspected it's going to need the electrical system for the lights sorted out (left high beam no longer turns on, front turn signals work when they want to, left rear turn signal doesn't work, but the rear lights and brake lights work!!!! Haha)
-what was a cool looking rear passenger seat that people seemed to like is now cracked and taped up, but a replacement can be had off eBay for cheap money
-It'll need new tires
-I'm sure to a trained eye there are a few other small things that need to be fixed/sorted out
All in all, I love this bike. I do. But there is really no point to it sitting in my garage for up to two years doing nothing when potentially someone could be getting better use from it. I've got a tentative offer on the bike but that wouldn't be for a few months and I could really use the cash for Christmas shopping or just paying off the credit card after, so let's gauge interest at a starting price of:
$1,650.00 but I will be flexible just to sell her.
It does have a clean MA title in hand
Thanks for looking
