Did you sell the bike yet? I have a 09-250r and a 07-500 vulcan on Craigs list and lowering prices as there is no interest at all yet. I think the general market rots you need to find the right buyers to check it out. This should be the right place for the R1 so hope its sold.

In general the market for ANY bike has sucked this year. I did well with used bikes earlier in the season. New weren't so hot.
yes the bike is still available...
Keith has 1 guy interested but i don't know what's going on with that... All i know is the bike is still in our garage...

well congrats! i just hope you guys got decent money for it. that bike was worth more than i'm sure it sold. not only because i'm friends with the owner, and i may have humped it a few times, but because it was taken care of very well.
The issue is Jim, Nothing is selling in this economy and sportbikes are taking the worst of it. You and I know the bike is worth more than it sold for I am sure. It was a very clean, very well maintained bike. I wish the new owner well.
To Keith and Alicia, thank you for letting me ride it this summer.
The times that I was over to see Sheppo I saw it and it was nice and it was clean and a great buy for whoever got it.
It showed up on the market a few weeks after I stole mine from someone who needed the payments to go away. The market was so bad that some people were giving thanks away so you could not get what things are really worth. I hope the market is better in the spring because I still need to sell my R6.
SOLD!
Thanks everyone
congrats to sdog30
i am definitely sad about letting it go....

Thank you, thank you.
It was nice meeting you and your girl, we'll have to hit some roads next summer.
Hey Keith, I tried to divert the conversation with my girlfriend when I came in, but she eventually asked who you guys were. That was a pleasant conversation. In the end, I was able to convince her that it didn't have anything to do with her, effect her in anyway and I'll get rid of a couple bikes this spring, but she nearly shit herself when I told her I bought the R1.
Oh well, it's my money. I'm glad we were able to work out the sale today. I'm planning on giving it a little "test ride" tomorrow up Shutesbury Chute before putting it away for the winter. Anyways, thanks again.
