I have no problem believing this. Especially since they used NOS parts. Those are getting very expensive for these bikes.

Maybe he spent too much to buy it for a conversion to start with, I don't see 5k invested if he did all the work himself. Personally, me and Greg build a CB450 for half that. But....good luck with his sale. Maybe he's in it for the flip.

Did you use NOS parts? And a CB is no RD. RD's are much more desirable.

I find 5k very hard to believe, aftermarket seat, bars, air filters, headlights brackets, chambers, not running the oil pump, no side covers, or front fender. I just built a 72, stripped to nuts and bolts (engine included)
With similar upgrades and have just over 4k, including purchase price. That said, its still a very nice, clean looking bike, they're a lot of fun.

Those Toomey pipes are awesome. To me, the bike is worth what he is asking, or close... it is probably a blast to ride!
