peace of mind that Im selling to someone who has at least passed a background check in the last 4 years. if you are in NH but dont have a CCP ill still sell to you but would require an FFL transfer and a background check.

thats funny cuz I just renewed my in state license last year with the PD in my town without issue after Constitutional Carry passed. there is no requirement to have a CCP anymore but for the purposes of reciprocity you can still get one from your local PD.

Yup. We can still get them via our local police chief. I'll continue to renew mine regardless...

the uppity fucks will probably look down their nose at you if you get one but if you just thru all the hoops and get it there is nothing wrong with owning and carrying firearms in CT... just dont ever think about wanting to buy an AR lol. I have 1 sister in woodstock with her CCP and she carrys, another who still lives at home in CT and is getting her CCP and my 3rd sister lives in SC and has her license down there.

I was speaking specifically on the fact that there is no longer a requirement for a CCP in NH. Didn't intend to give the impression that I was skewing the conversation. My apologies if it was taken that way.

Correct. Same in MA. If I wanted to buy this gun (I do but can't afford it), I'd talk to my local FFL, ask them how much they charge for transfer fees, then have Brian ship the pistol to that FFL. They'd call me when it's there, I'd fill out their forms, hand them 40 bucks or whatever & walk out with my new to me peeee stolah.

The process is probably extremely similar in CT.

I totally get your point and it is understandable. Hope you understand why i put that on there after my explenation.

Pete you are right for ME, CT or MA it would need to be shipped to an FFL, a background check done and the transfer fees paid. The process isnt to bad tho.
