This one is a few years old but in excellent condition and has been updated twice. The first update flashed the firmware and added a few new bands and the second update gave it the latest speed camera database. This is the blue LED version.
The 9500ix solved the most annoying thing about radar detectors - needless audible alerts for x-band and in-town k-band. The built in GPS also tunes out frequent radar sources near you, as well as gives you the manual option to tune out radar sources that are harmless. I have trusted this one for years and only selling because I want to upgrade to the Escort Max 360.
Can be used on motorcycles with a visual LED (which was my preferred setup during my street riding days - see below) or an audible speaker/alarm attachment.
