Dell C610 Laptop

It's older, well used, but it works. Battery seems to hold a decent charge.

256mb of Ram
20GB Hard drive

CD Rom Drive
Built in Wireless, Modem and Wired Ethernet

Case has a couple little dings and cracks, holds together just fine though.

Has a license for Windows 2000, it is being sold with no operating system. I can toss Windows 2000 on there for another $50. The drive is currently wiped clean.

It will run XP without a problem. I had it on there and it ran fine. May not be the fastest machine in existence, but it is cheap. Has a pointer and a touch-pad, sometimes they get a little sticky. Happens to all the C600's, little tap and it works fine again. I just use a mouse.

out of curiousity...what are the specs on the other 8? same thing with smaller HD's?

Yup. All have 10gb hard drives, Win2k (full license), 128MB or 256MB ram, CD-roms, power supplies.

These machines are great for internet useage, basic Office type work and having a portable machine. They won't play any newer games (I use them for Starcraft but I'm old school). They do have a USB port so you could toss a burner on there, optical mouse, USB wireless card, etc. With a $15 wireless PCMCIA card, these would work just fine with wireless.

The C610's have wireless already in them.

Damn this would make a perfect internet machine. The AF out here makes you wipe your comps OS and HD to install their OS so you can use it in your rooms.
