If your really up for a build and make a good offer for everything including what I mentioned I want I can be swayed to sell everything off.
All the bike needs to be riden is a motor, oil cooler, battery, tank, seats and exhuast. I was told everything is in fully functioning order. Clean title in hand ready to transfer!

Any idea how much could be used on a 2nd gen sv (06 sv650s)? In particular, the entire front end and nose fairing...looking for parts for an 06 that had front end collision damage.
I am now studying the exhaustive thread on fork swaps on svRider...this is gonna take awhile. 256 pages on GSxr front end swaps alone! I imagine many people on this site have been there. I really didn't intend to dive into this topic head first, but the bike kinda fell into my hands yesterday
a spare set of wheels for amandas bike would be nice...hmmmmm.....

Imbeek, do exactly what the prior owner did to my other SV, take the new motor & p ut it in this frame.

Hmm, interesting idea...I didn't even consider that. I'm not that knowledgeable on SVs...as I said, this just happened yesterday! dont know if all those other gen 2 parts which I have would fit on a gen 1 bike (your quote: all the bike needs to be riden is a motor, oil cooler, battery, tank, seats and exhuast) as well as all the parts you are taking off...especially subframe, etc.
How much for the whole ball of wax before you take stuff off?
what makes it a bit more difficult is that I take your suggestion, I would be going "backwards" in the frame age. The frame I got looks mint, not sure if gen 2 is necessarily better or not. Mine has clean title too, and if I just get a GSXR front end (or someones gen 2 SV front end after they replaced theirs with GSXR parts, should be plenty of those around!) and race plastics, I would be pretty set. (needs a few other things; rear brake pedal and shift lever, or replace all with rearsets; radiator slightly bent but not leaking.
seems like the first thing I should do is see if I can find a complete gen 2 SV front end (or maybe just forks and rotor...because of the way the accident happened, the wheel and calipers might be ok.
Opinions on which generation SV frame is better for trackday use? (so, I guess it would include cost/availability of plastics, etc)

stop looking for GSXR front ends. they will be more expensive, whereas a TL front end is just about the same and will usually be a fair amount cheaper.

Is there an exhaust available? I didn't notice and I'm lazy.
swtiches... I need the right side switch pod (starter and kill), with the wires that plug into the main harness. You had all the switches listed together for $100. I don't need them all and can buy the switch pod new from the dealer for $78. Let me know if you'll let the right side pod go for cheap before I order one.

I need a bar end, assuming they're the same as the next gen.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
I would look into that Jay, as I do not know for sure. I do have 2 bar ends. They are lightly scratched but fully functional. I'll send them to you cheap.

Can you ship me the engine support bolts for $25?
I just need one. Maybe I can just take the bike for a spin and stop by next weekend.

Ok, need to find some time to escape from little biggles. Hold onto them and I will see when I can get some free time. What days/times usually work for you?
