How does this actually hold the bike upright? I dont see any fastener mechanism. Looks like what I might need for my trailer, I'm just not confident it alone is sufficient.

Just really don't have a need for it. Triumph was doing a promotion, I got it with my bike.

I can't tell you exactly, but I saw it holding a bike on the showroom floor, it does lock the wheel in tight. Think his name is duey on here? The guy who works in parts at Riverside told me he uses the same stand in his trailer and it's very solid.

You'd want a strap till if using in a trailer. It works perfectly fine solo in the garage...great stand for sure.

I think no. The one in the ad notes the adapter kit comes seperate, so I wouldn't think so.

I believe it does come with the trailer adaptor but if not u can get one from duncan moto PM him...
