    Helmet Camera

    This is a older unit from hemetcamera.com
    Sony lipstick camera with protective case.
    All cables and case included
    Camera needs to be plugged into an outside video camera to record.

    right, but if you want to record what the (aux) camera is viewing then it needs to go INTO a recording device(camera). this means that the recording device has to have INPUT ports for said AV cables to plug into. if you just plug them into the recording devices OUTPUT ports (that most if not all cameras have) then it wont work. unfortunately finding a recording device (camera) with AV input is difficult.

    i have this set up and ended up buying the recording device from Helmetcam because its impossible to find a camera w/ AV INPUT.

    I've only used Sony camcorders.

    I just bought a new Sony Handycam dcr-SX41, not sure if it will work with this but it is brand new...Any idea if it would? If it does, ill make an offer and grab it this weekend....let me know, thanks

    check your camera for audio/video IN. if you dont have it then it wont work. FYI...most cameras only have out
