***Feeler*** 2000 Honda VFR

Bought this last year but I might be moving to the west coast, and if that happens I won't be taking this with me. I took it to a local shop and had it inspected: needed new linkage (had been lowered), chain, tires, and battery. It pearl yellow, body work has some scapes - looks like Magilla Gorilla tried to remove the body work at some point. I paid $2800 for it, and need to figure out what I have in it for parts. I don't recall the mileage but I seem to recall it's around 30K. (I will update this posting when I get home.) NADA says it's worth between $3,00 - $3,800 so I'll move it for somewhere in between.

I did - hated going without a trusty Viffer! This one is old enough that it doesn't make sense to move across the country.

I'm interested, but unless you address the chain/tires/battery stuff I think NADA is misleading you.
