Bike has roughly 52XX miles
The bike is completely stock, and has plenty of life left on the tires. The only blemish on the bike is a small scratch on one of the left side engine covers, I didnt even notice it when I bought the bike.
The bike has a small issue with oil seeping from the water pump. I created a thread on BORN asking for advice about it, and from the response I got , and talking to people locally the general consensus is that the water pump will need to be replaced. Its a 180$ part and can be done in a half hour, its a pretty easy fix from what I can tell.
I have no idea when it started, but I noticed it earlier this season. There are two drops in my shed from it, its a VERY small amount that doest even really drop off the bike. Anyone is more than welcome to come take a look and check it out.
In light of that issue I am asking slightly below the NADA LOW retail price for the bike. Its stock, except for a "carbon" tank pad. I have removed the SET motor which gives many people a error code.
Anyhow, bike is located in Warwick RI. Clean title in hand.
NADA LOW retail is 4225
NADA Avg Retail 5560
Im asking 4200. Somewhat motivated, but not desperate.
Here are more pics, including a shot of the damaged on the left cover. As you can see from the shot that is 5-10 feet away its almost impossible to see. Once you get closer it looks worse. I 100% believe that the dealer painted over it, because it was not there when I picked the bike up and I never dropped it. You can still see where the scratch was painted over.
Either way, here goes
Here is a shot of the side with the damage, BARELY noticeable
and here are some closer shots
Since these photos I have painted over the scratch itself with high heat black paint, its much less noticeable now.
do the 07's have selectable mappings or was that only on the 1k's in 07?
If you can't Race it or take it to bed, it's not worth having..
that was the 1k's
my wifes 07 600 didnt have the map selector...
awesome bike

just waiting on you to give me a time to look at it lol
Damn, this bike has got me thinking. Unfortunately, I have nowhere to store it for the winter. Ah well, sure to be more bikes come spring.
